I'm going to copy you and make up my own to-do list. well, actually write it down this time. but for some reason the things I want to learn have the ring of "career change" to them. is that weird?

Rachel, Amy wouldn't let me dress as a muscle douche guy, so it was just plain ol' me. I just said hi and spent the rest of my attention on the kids. Veggie Tales is so boring. Even the other church kids thought so. That shit needs to be updated - Jesus in a leather jacket and shades, Mary Magdalene as the exoitic dancer, God as a mob boss, etc.

Syncen, you've probably seen the studies that diet pop doesn't help most people lose weight because they just gorge on the carbohydrates from other sources. The key for me is to find a drink that doesn't make my stomach all growly and hungry (like most diet pops do), or taste like battery acid or urine. The carbonated flavored water drinks help for me. I've tried the 10 calorie Vitamin Water drinks and they're not bad. It is hard to do, I agree.

Golf, just kidding, wanted to get your attention (even if it was a bad way) and remind you which person I am.

Giving up the soda, kudos to you. I wish I could do that, but it is hard to do. My personal theory is that regular soda is better for you than diet, all I need is a Dr. (you) to endorse it and then I can tell my wife.
Please.

Anyway, great site.
Have a good Fourth.

As always, I adore your family. Amy is hysterical. Sun Su is wise for his age, and your little girl is precious as always.

As far as Veggie Tales goes, that's an actual parable from the Bible...I forget exactly where though. In vegetable form, I imagine the point of the story gets a bit watered down, but I can imagine how it would be grossly irritating to someone in the medical field out of a religious context.

P.S. How did the muscular douche guy approach work?

Jade, Wolverine the Turtle shall reexperience the grassy fields of his youth (like from a week ago) later tonight.

Jackie, I've drawn with the kids before - but only if I am done with the nude reference photo stage. The writing usually requires less distractions though.

Paul, I'll take the turtle out for a walk today. I hope it doesn't suddenly bolt away into the bushes. It might be embarrassing to say I was outrun by a turtle.

Jeanetta, I can't drink straight water all the time, but I like this carbonated cherry-flavored water from Meijer's (if you have that chain near you). I'm probably getting a phenylalanine overdose at this rate though.

Dongseng, the turtle doesn't bark or anything but he'll perch himself on the highest rock in the tank and try to scratch the tank's walls, or he'll fall off and create a ruckuss, or try climbing the walls.

Janette, that's exactly how I feel. Alone, especially at home, I am never bored. On the contrary, there's always too much to do - which is frustrating too. It's only when I'm around other people, when I can't do what I want to do, that I get bored.

Sun O, minus? I give your grading scale an A-minus! Hahah!
