Twitter and Facebook are immense wastes of time, just like most of the items ont he internet. But they are popuylar because people want to waste time, which is where all of the social media search optimization, ranking lead follow all that jazz comes from.... If I did not get paid to sit online and do this stuff daily, i would be on line in some capacity doing it while working... :)

Eric, Twitter and Facebook are tremendous wastes of time and I applaud your self-control. That last scene with Boy Blue telling Rose Red how it really is on his deathbed was one of the best scenes ever.

Nilky, I can't argue with a man with 12 girlfriends.

Sunny, I store my older comic books in the basement. Some of them I plan on selling on ebay eventually, but I'm keeping my Elementals and Micronauts.

Gary1970, my comic book store's hardcover books are overpriced. Sometimes I'll see something I like, go home, and buy it cheaper (and used) on amazon. But sometimes I can't wait (like Tim Bradstreet's second volume of art).

Bonnie, I was wondering who unfriended me, haha! (Actually I figured it out when I read your blog.)

Sil, I remember Doonesbury but I'm understanding the expression, unless you mean I was very longwinded and verbose, in which case I agree.

Heheheh, loved the Doonesbury storyline about Twitter. It's not my cup of tea; guess I live a low-key life. Texting my co-workers is the nearest I come to that, and I only do that about 1~2x a month.

I'm looking forward to getting A Drifting Life and Secret Identities: The Asian American Superhero Anthology. Although I know I'm supposed to support the local comic book store, I'll probably get them through Amazon.
