The alien used to be a six foot tall winged bones-on-the-outside looking thing and the fluids being sprayed on the captive audience were a great deal gorier. I went on it in 97 when I was 34 and it scared me so bad I sat in the restaurant there in Tommorowland and rocked in my chair for 1/2 an hour. And there was no warning about how bad it was, so of course little kids galore - it's Disney, how could it be scary? I was just glad I didn't have my son with me on that trip.
