Anyway, I just wanted to say that I enjoy your journal :) Regarding 'Corean New Years', my parents & grandparents immigrated to the US in the late 70's/early 80's and we do the whole song and dance. We set up the alter/breakfast for our ancestors in the morning and even visit the cemetery. And I wouldn't be so incredulous about the amount Amy used to get. I myself still (as a 22 yr old, although I am getting too old) receive around $100! It's pretty unheard of according to my peers, but it does happen! Hey Scott,

I was a little confused at first since Amy just calls it sebae, but that's a part of seollal (new year) rather than the day itself. Plus the Corean new year is lunar and not actually on Jan. 1st.
