i have never read ender’s game either oppa! but i’ve heard of it. i love ooseung’s expression in that last pic. she’s so silly and crazy. i love it!

i saw ironman last week and loved it! i’m a sucker for comic book turned movies.

Many years ago, in a time barely remembered, the son of a then-coworker loaned me “Ender’s Game” and helped cement my belief that there is intelligent life in the teenage universe, no matter how it hides itself away sometimes.

Jen, I’m converted! Hopefully Amy will be too.

Rick, I must thank you again for recommending Ender’s Game. With all your belts now, you are a true MIXED martial artist, haha. I hated cutting the grass too so I don’t think I’ll be leading by example for Sun Su. As for the comments, I have to approve them, so there’s usually a delay especially if I’m at work. I just want to keep out the trolls and a few (dozen) people I’ve burned/banned on forums over the years.

Joy, there’s hardly any scifi in it in my opinion. It’s basically about a boy genius that plays games, who has to grow up too fast and may or may not save the human race.

Bonnie, Amy recently started reading Jane Eyre but she didn’t mind at all when I replaced it with Ender’s Game on her nightstand. Her favorite book is To Kill a Mockingbird but she doesn’t read much other than her beauty magazines (her words). Bonnie bustin’ caps - that cracks me up!

Man…what happened to kids being lazy and disrespectful?! Why when *I* was a kid, I had to be asked SEVENTEEN TIMES to cut the grass. And I bitched about it the WHOOOLEE TIIMMEEE. Kids today.

I might have to pick up that book at some point. I HATE science fiction (don’t hate me) and would be completely turned off by a cover of spaceships. But if Amy is okay with it, I’ll give it a fair shot.
