Alexz0rs, maybe you'll catch Danny if he comes to New York.

Aein, hahah, I am not surprised you recognize the Nyanko shirt. Yeah, meeting online people in person is always awkward at first. I initially started this entry with "Meeting people through the internet is like a box of chocolates; you never know what nasty ass mess is hiding beneath that sweet polished facade." I edited it out for length's sake.

Glenda, just doing my part for the internet community. Let's all thank Al Gore for not incorporating virtual smell, in this case.

Manny, nice to see you here! This is actually the second time Danny came to Detroit. The first time he blew me off for a Pistons game and he doesn't even like the Pistons.

Danny, your arms aren't really that small - compared to Ooseung I mean. My small eyes were from lack of sleep and occasional embarassment.

This is a great story. I'm glad that you and Danny finally got to meet in person after all these years. It seems you guys have been on RBJ forever and were bound to have met at least once a long time ago. You're right - such is the power of the Internet.

Scott, I love your shirt !! Nyanko's so cute...

It's great you guys finally met!! How fun! I've had some bad experiences meeting online friends offline so I'm always wary now. Despite that, I still hope to meet my best friends IRL sometime. :)

Danny posted his version of the night:
http://mcguffinonline.com/blog/2008/04/12/scotty-exposed/. I forgot about the full-contact booty dance he gave Kevin. I've never heard my eyes described as slanty before (Amy laughed) but my glasses do make them look smaller.

Melanie, that kind of gives a new meaning to extended family.

Bonnie, it's like Will Smith said, "Parents just don't understand." :-D

Sharkbait, no serial killer dates yet! Keep on truckin'!

Sara, the hair on his head thing is a good look for him, I admit.

Matt! It is hard to believe it's ten years. I wish you'd post pics of your family on your site, but I realize you're in a bigger spotlight these days. One of these years I will have to head to one of those Texas comic conventions and get your autograph.

(For everyone else: Matt Sturges writes one of the funniest comics out there, Jack of Fables, along with House of Mystery, Salvation Run, Shadowpact, and others. I like to say I knew him when he was blogging about desk supplies.)

Sil, I'll try that phrase on Amy but since I've never heard her say it, she might not know what it means either. She was impressed the first time I said Park Ji Young like a real Corean though (more like Bek Jiyong).

Cindy, I have a rule. Only one half-naked penis-bearer per picture. Besides, Danny's child-like arms would break by themselves. Where's the sport in that? (Kevin and I actually do practice Brazilian jiu jitsu in my basement every other week or so. I've even got wrestling mats down there. We stay fully clothed, thank you.)
