Phil, Ultraviolet is like the best parts of The Fifth Element (the parts with Milla fighting) with Tron-like visuals. The over-the-stratosphere comic book action makes me tingly. Plus, my girl Vi can kick ass like no one ever while changing her hair and bodysuit colors to suit her mood. The minimalist scene compositions and stark color palette really tickles my brain though. It's like a shot of epinephrine into the visual cortex (not recommended in the literal sense). What's not to love?

I haven't seen Blood of Heroes, but any "Mad Max-esque post apocalyptic world" gets a space on my To Watch list. Thanks!

Ann, I do like the Resident Evil series (although the games are too slow-paced for me), mostly just for Milla's part. The extra characters and exposition kind of bore me though. I respect Milla for her part in making "Ass-kicking sci-fi babe" an actual movie genre.

If you love Ultraviolet, you must have watched the Resident Evil series. It's a classic video game movie! Milla Jovovich is one awesome kick butt actress. After watching the first one, I was hooked on these type of "bad" movies. There is another that I want to watch, "Parasite Eve". I hope it has the same gory goodness as the others.

Ultraviolet????? Sheesh the only movie I bought on sale and have been looking for a park bench to leave it on.
Now I like things like Blood of Heroes so it's not like I can't get down into the pit but...shaking my head...Ultraviolet is one rung to which I dare not go

Jeanetta, you own Doom? And Mortal Kombat on VHS? Wow. In Bad Movie Kombat, that is a Double Flawless Victory.

Rachel, I didn't think it was bad but when I looked at the reviews on rottentomatoes.com, it got a 15%. On the other hand, I see now that Ebert gave it 3 out of 4 stars, which isn't bad. So, it's good! /highfive

Hey now, I don't think Hitman was a bad movie. I liked it a lot. Maybe I'm in denial.

I'm an infamous lover of bad movies, just ask anybody I force to watch dvd's with me (oh wait, very few people WILL anymore..hmm..). I was honestly lamenting the fact I only have Mortal Kombat on vhs to my daughter the other day. Thankfully, I do own Doom ;)
